The association was founded in Adana in March 2018. For six years, it has worked on indicator-based monitoring, social inclusion, advocacy, and network-building on child labour, placing particular emphasis on the Convention on the Rights of the Child in its work.

By bringing the problems faced by child labourers onto the public agenda, the association carries out indicator-based monitoring and advocacy work in collaboration with civil society organisations and local administrations responsible for children’s rights. Since 2018, it has produced the Child Labour Rights Violations Report.

Under its Child Labour Combat Center Advisory Line, the association provides free access-to-justice and social service counselling to child labourers and to the parents of children at risk.
