Using the soft power it draws from consumers, the Clean Clothes Campaign Association produces solutions by carrying out advocacy activities against rights violations, so that all textile workers can work under fair, healthy, and safe conditions.
The Clean Clothes Campaign association was founded in Istanbul in 2017. It is open to communicating with other civil society organisations on business and human rights, living wage, freedom of association, child labour, environmental and climate justice, informal employment, and gender equality, and to sharing experience on campaigning, lobbying, and international networks.
In addition, people who have contracted an occupational illness or wish to seek advice on this issue, or textile workers who have not received their wages or compensation at their workplace or who work under poor conditions, can apply to the association for support.
