Our association is a civil society organisation that carries out rights-based work. Its main aim is to support individuals with autism and their families in leading a life befitting human dignity and rights. To this end, the Denizli Autism Association (DOD) works towards the integration of autistic individuals and their families into society, and also aims to bring together, under its umbrella, those who wish to live free of discrimination and those interested in addressing social injustices.
Alongside individuals with autism and their families, the association also provides support to educators and prospective educators working in the field of autism, and is open to collaboration and experience-sharing with other civil society organisations in the areas of autism, disability rights, children’s rights, rights-based journalism, and disability rights journalism.
