HEVİ LGBTİ+ Association was founded in 2015 by a group of Minority LGBTİ+ individuals who came together.
Although our association is based in Istanbul, it also carries out workshops and activities in cities such as Eskişehir, Yalova, Van, Diyarbakır, Ankara, Izmir, and Mersin. Working in the fields of refugees, minorities, and health, our association carries out work to expand multilingual activities, to expand sexual health and safety work specifically for LGBTİ+ people, to mainstream Gender Equality, to empower Minority and Refugee LGBTİ+ people, and to monitor LGBTİ+ court cases. HEVİ LGBTİ+ Association has provided legal support to LGBTİ+ people since 2018. We have also provided peer counselling since 2015. You can reach our association’s email for counselling.
