Having begun its activities in 2016 and formalised as an association in 2017, KODA is a Kocaeli-based initiative with an academic orientation, striving for peace and democracy. It carries out a struggle for responsible intellectualism and academic integrity.
Open to collaboration with other civil society organisations within the framework of the struggle for freedom of expression and academic freedoms, KODA does not have a mechanism for individual applications, but notes that its solidarity network is open to everyone.
