Since its establishment in 2013, the Foundation has advocated for the equal exercise of freedoms and rights, and carries out mother-tongue work in the context of fundamental rights and freedoms.

Work supporting dialogue, mutual understanding, and coexistence, and the Foundation’s long-term goal of establishing a multilingual university, will serve the purpose of supporting the coexistence of different identities through mutual understanding.

This includes work aimed at enabling Kurds, as an ethnic group, to receive services in their mother tongue, in order to address the inequalities they face in social life.

Creative work in fields such as culture, art, education, media, science, and technology that supports diversity, equality, and pluralism: language standardisation to facilitate the use of the Kurdish mother tongue, compiling manuscripts and oral literary works, and archiving and documentation work related to language, history, and ethnography.
