Founded in 2010, Ordu Women’s Empowerment Association is a rights-based civil society organisation working in the province of Ordu and the Black Sea region with the aim of preventing violence against women and strengthening the active participation of women and girls in social life.
Open to collaboration and experience-sharing on issues such as combating violence against women, child abuse, child labour, seasonal agricultural migration, gender, combating discrimination, and monitoring public and municipal budgets and activities, the association also provides support to groups subjected to violence against women, child abuse, and discrimination.
