Serhat Migration Research Association is a human rights association working on the rights violations faced by people who have left their country or been internally displaced.
It holds that borders are not binding, and recognises that all people who have relocated — whether by force or for any other reason, due to war, belief, sexual identity, race, and similar causes — hold inviolable, inalienable, and non-negotiable fundamental rights and freedoms to life, and economic, social, cultural, and political rights and freedoms, in the place to which they have migrated.
Open to participating in and collaborating on work relating to refugees and internally displaced persons, the organisation also provides support to individuals in these situations.
