The Tigris Euphrates Journalists Association (DFG) has been active in Diyarbakır since November 2019.
We work for the development of press freedom and freedom of expression, with particular attention to the problems faced by journalists. Acting on the understanding that freedom of expression is indispensable to democracy, we base our work both on bringing potential violations to public attention through reports and on joint struggle with other professional associations to change this picture. DFG carries out work aimed at meeting journalists’ requests for legal and psychological support.
