Since 2007, the association has worked locally on the access of hearing-impaired people and their families to equal rights and equal opportunities, regardless of discrimination, gender, race, language, or religion. It carries out monitoring, reporting, and advocacy to prevent discrimination against people with disabilities, to develop disability rights and respect for differences, and to ensure that people with disabilities can benefit from equal opportunities. It aims to create common areas of work among civil society organisations and to contribute to strengthening the knowledge-sharing network.
