Red Umbrella Association for Sexual Health and Human Rights

Red Umbrella is a civil society organisation informing, encouraging and organizing sex workers living in Turkey on various issues of their concern, including human rights violations, social exclusion, criminalization, stigmatization, and sexual and reproductive health, regardless of individuals’ gender identity and sexual orientation, race, colour, language, religion, sect and of whether their work is registered or unregistered. Red Umbrella further conducts advocacy and lobbying activities before the public and authorities in accordance with the needs and demands of sex workers.

The Legal Emergency Line offers 24/7 support to sex workers (0534 010 95 98).

Additional support services include the Sexual and Reproductive Health Hotline for Sex Workers and the Gender Confirmation Peer Hotline (0545 347 57 27).
