Roman Youth Association

Roman Gençlik Derneği was established on 03.12.2009 in Ankara. It works with the following aims: empowering all disadvantaged youth, especially Roma youth, against all discriminatory policies and practices; supporting the active participation of the youth in decision- and policy-making and implementation processes; promoting respect for human rights, universal democratic values as well as peace, brotherhood, and solidarity among young people; enhancing the personal, social, and cultural development of young people in the struggle against social exclusion and discrimination by recognizing the value of cultural diversity in the society; and promoting active participation of the youth in social and economic life.
