Association for Legal Support against Sexual Violence

Since 1997, the Association for Legal Support against Sexual Violence’s is engaged in providing legal support to counter sexual violence against women. In line with its overarching goal, the association visits prisons, follows up with legal processes, files criminal complaints, issues press releases, and organizes awareness-raising meetings and panels.

The association holds the view that official violence against women is political and develops within a systemic complex comprising law enforcement, the prosecution, judicial authorities and forensic medicine as the “official experts’ body”.

We will soon be able to receive support requests by women who have been subjected to violence at the hands of state actors in detention or during street protests and house raids on our website, which is currently under construction.
