Nirengi Association

Nirengi Association adopts the approach that defines people as “rights-bearer” and the state and some non-state actors as “duty-bearer” in guaranteeing these rights. Nirengi Association positions itself as an NGO that is centered on its beneficiaries. Accordingly, it is essential for us to hold accountable especially public institutions and organizations, including ourselves, to fulfill their obligations. 

The association’s Hotline against Abuse Program, which stands out among our activities, provides free legal counseling and psychosocial support to children and their caregivers who are exposed to violence or abuse. Calls to the support line, which can be reached on 0850 216 53 67, are answered in accordance with the call profile, and the callers are brought together with legal counseling and/or psychosocial support in line with their needs. All forms of physical, sexual, emotional, economic abuse and violence are within the scope of this program which provides online counselling support throughout Turkey.
