Ordu Association for the Empowerment of Women

The Ordu Association for the Empowerment of Women was established in 2010 and is a rights-based civil society organization working in the province of Ordu and the wider Black Sea region to prevent violence against women and to promote the active participation of women and girls in social life.

The association is open to cooperation and sharing experience on issues such as combating violence against women, child abuse, child labour, seasonal agricultural migration, gender, combating discrimination, and monitoring public and municipal budgets and activities. It offers support to all those subjected to violence against women, child abuse and discrimination.
