Woman State of Solidarity Association

DAKAHDER was founded in 2018 in Diyarbakır by a group of young women. The association, which currently has one branch, is expanding its activities to other cities in the region if need be. It works in solidarity with people who have been subjected to gender- or sexual orientation-based discrimination; although it does not provide counseling support, it takes on a guiding role. It carries out advocacy and activism to achieve gender equality. 

It opens an annual internship program to empower young women in civil society. Also, it gives free gender equality trainings to NGOs, professional organizations, trade unions, and corporations in the cities of Batman, Bingöl, Dersim, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Mardin, and Urfa
